MACINTOSH ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS
This series of three classes will cover the various ways to use
Photoshop Elements 3 on the Macintosh. Emphasis is placed on how to use
Elements 3 to get the best results from your photo shots. We also explore
some fun things to do with it.
The classes will be on Wednesday in the Macintosh Lab (Community Hall)
from 1:30 TO 3:30. It will start on March 1st and end on March 15th.
The cost is $20 dollars for Mac Users Club members and $30 dollars for
non-members. There will be a lecture with handouts followed by hands
on directed and guided activities. Each student will receive a CD with
images to practice on along with some excellent instructional
material you can use at home.
Day 1 will be an introduction to the interface and tools plus a quick
review of some the basics guidelines to consider when taking digital
images.
Day 2 will deal with editing tools and retouching techniques.
Day 3 will be practice editing and finally a look at some advanced
techniques . How Photoshop Elements and iPhoto work together .
Since it is impossible to cover everything in the time we have so the
classes will be geared to the students interest and needs.
Enrollment is limited, so please sign up in advance. If you have a
lap top with Elements installed , you are encouraged to bring it to
class .
