This is a reminder that our January Macintosh User Group meeting is just around
the corner on the Tuesday, the 24th of January. MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW!!!
This is a VERY important meeting. We will be solidifying our plans with regard
to the future of the Group. Your input is important so PLEASE attend. Copies
of the bylaws of the new SCC Macintosh User Group will be available as well
as plans for the election of Officers.
I would like to commence the meeting at 3:45 in the Caper Room. The planned
agenda is:
1) Club Business
2) Program: CompUSA is supposed to really make it this time. They (Donnie &
Calvin) will introduce the new iLife 06 and then proceed with iPhoto as planned
for last months meeting. They suggested that we bring some photos ,old and new,
so that they could demonstrate some capabilities of iPhoto. They will be bringing
a scanner/printer,computer, camera et-al.
During the iPhoto presentation they will scan and restore old photos, make a
slide show and burn to disk a slideshow presentation.
They will also bring the new iMac/Intel computer if available. It is very probable
the meeting will exceed an hour, so you might want to plan accordingly.
I would also like to remind everyone that we are posting "Book Reviews"
on our website (http://www.sccmacsig.netfirms.com/) of some of the books that
we have received. We are encouraging all our members that if you sign-out one
of our new books that you consider doing a "review" for the rest of
us.
In closing, each and everyone one of you who are members or are thinking of
being members of our local Macintosh User Group, this is a very important meeting.
Whether you are able to come for our whole program or can stay just a while,
please show up and indicate your interest in maintaining a vibrant Macintosh
group.
